Each box had been perfectly wrapped in paper and bows as rare as the gifts they disguised. Each box stacked ever so carefully one on top of the next on top of the next until the pile of presents was as tall as the room itself, albeit leaning ever so slightly to the right, that is appearred as though the faintest whisper could cause the stack to tumble. Yet the boxes of purple, pink, fuschia, red, teal and yellow, crimson, emerald, and jade and every other color imaginable continued to dazzle and amaze as more guests arrived and the tower grew taller and wider.
Sadly the beautiful boxes would remain frozen in their rainbow of colors as no one dared to touch them, and so they waited. The days passed on into months and time had began to take its toll of the marvoulous gifts fading the beautiful colors and hiding the precious gifts under layers of dust. Thousands of delighted treasures sat and waited to be remember, to be enjoyed and treasured.
